to French St. Martin when the FIVB Men’s World Championship
Qualification Tournament NORCECA Group D ended at 2 pm on Sunday
2nd September. French St.
Martin got the best Spiker.

Marigot, French St. Martin, September 2nd, 2012 - Buoyed by a
small but noisy crowd French St. Martin persevered over their
Dutch counterparts 25-16, 20-25, 25-17, 21-25 and 15-12 to
secure second place in the FIVB Men’s World Championship
Qualification Tournament NORCECA Group D.

Bermuda delivers upset of the Tournament defeats Anguilla in a
thrilling five-setter
Marigot, French St. Martin, September 2nd, 2012 - A herculean
effort by Bermuda in a come from behind victory over Anguilla
(16-25,16-25,28-26,26-24 and 15 -10) brought the biggest upset
to the FIVB Men’s World Championship Qualification Tournament
NORCECA Group D. Anguilla was touted to win the game handsomely
to stake a claim.

French Saint Martin shows off
brand new court
Marigot, French St. Martin, September 2nd, 2012-The
FIVB Men’s World Championship Qualification Tournament NORCECA
Group D was played on a spanking new polyvinyl surface that
heralded in a new era in volleyball in St. Martin. The court
which was a gift from NORCECA and obtained through Sport Court
arrived in St Martin in March.

French St. Martin eyes second place with victory over Anguilla
Marigot, French St. Martin, September 1, 2012- French St. Martin
did just enough to win 3-1 (25 -23, 25-22, 23-25 and 25-19) over
Anguilla in match number eight of FIVB Men’s World Championship
Qualification Tournament NORCECA Group D. It was an all
important game as both teams were trying to cement the second
place after Antigua Barbuda had sewn up first place.

Antigua & Barbuda waltz pass Bermuda to top Group D
Marigot, French St. Martin, September 1st, 2012-
Antigua/Barbuda brushed aside Bermuda 25-11, 25-11 and 25 12 in
match number Seven of FIVB Men’s World Championship Qualification
Tournament NORCECA Group D. In doing so they remained unbeaten
from all four games and have registered an unassailable 17
points to top the group.

Dutch St. Maarten tastes first victory in win over Bermuda
Marigot, French St. Martin, September 1st, 2012 - Dutch St.
Maarten recorded their first victory when they won in four sets
(25-18, 28-26, 21–25 and 25-21) against a determined Bermuda
team in match number six of FIVB Men’s World Championship
Qualification Tournament NORCECA Group D. Ian Bucci of team
Bermuda had the most kills (16) in the match while Captain
Leonardo Jeffers.

Antigua & Barbuda winning ways continue as they down Anguilla in
five
Marigot, French St. Martin, September 1, 2012 – Antigua and
Barbuda were made to really work when they persevered in the
first five-setter (25-16, 14-25, 20-25, 25 -13 and 15-10)
against Anguilla in match number five of FIVB Men’s World
Championship Qualification Tournament NORCECA Group D. The win
meant they kept their winning streak intact at 3-0 but only took
away 3 points from the game.

Anguilla adds to Dutch St. Maarten woes with a come from behind
victory
Marigot, French St. Martin, August 31st, 2012 –
Anguilla turned the tables on Dutch St. Maarten and took victory
in four sets (18-25, 25-23, 25-17 and 25-21) to condemn their
opponents to the second straight defeat of the day. In match
number three of FIVB Men’s World Championship.

Antigua & Barbuda dismisses Dutch St. Maarten
Marigot, French St. Martin, August 31st, 2012 –
Antigua/ Barbuda confidently put away Dutch St. Maarten 3-0
(25-21,28- 26 and 25 -15) in match number two of FIVB Men’s
World Championship Qualification Tournament NORCECA Group D. It
was only in the second set where they found themselves in
trouble trailing by as many as 8 points. At one point Dutch St.
Maarten got to 23 with Antigua Barbuda on 17. They then rallied
with an all round game to take the set 28-26.
