Briggs-Romine Latest To Earn MLV Weekly Honors

January 27, 2026.- Fresh off the strongest performance of her three-year professional career, outside hitter Paige Briggs-Romine of the Grand Rapids Rise has been selected as the Major League Volleyball Player of the Week presented by Franklin Sports.  The native of Ortonville, Mich. led the Rise to victory in their only match of the week, a 3-1 win at San Diego on Friday. She had career highs in points (23) and kills (22), while hitting .327. Briggs-Romine led the team with 18 digs (4.5 per set) and was outstanding in serve receive, recording 28 receptions with just one error (86% positive, 46% perfect), while adding one service ace. Dallas Pulse Upset Orlando Valkyries to Improve to 3-1

ORLANDO, Florida, January 25, 2026. – The Dallas PULSE extended their winning streak (3-1) in a road victory against the Orlando Valkyries (3-2) during a five-set thriller, 3-2 (24-26, 22-25, 25-16, 25-23, 15-9), at Addition Financial Arena in Orlando on Sunday. Dallas Pulse outside hitter Mimi Colyer led all scorers with 22 points, tallying 21 kills on 45 swings. Opposite hitter Kelsie Payne added 15 kills on 32 attempts and four blocks.
