Barbados win U21 without dropping a Set!

PARAMARIBO, Suriname, April 3, 2018 -The Defending championships of the CAZOVA U21 Men retained their title in record form having not losing a set in five matches. Barbados left their best for last dominating Haiti in the finals.

Barbados won the match 3–0 (25-10, 25-17 and 25-16).

Barbados had more winners 75 to Haiti 43, Barbados however committed slightly more errors 20 to Haiti 19.

Akeel Oxley was Barbados to scorer with 14 points (11 Spikes, 1 Block and 2 Aces) same as the Haitian Jean Philippe Bayol with 14 points (14 Spikes).

COACH BARBADOS – John Stuart said “the guys executed well and our mission was complete.”

CAPTAIN BARBADOS – Brandon Callender said “We are very happy, it was a good tournament.”

COACH HAITI – Ralph Adolphe said “Barbados played well.”

CAPTAIN HAITI – Joseph Dumay said “strong team.”
