Belize celebrates the success of the regional cup

BELIZE CITY, Belize, August 14, 2018 – The Volleyball Family of Belize celebrated on Sunday the success achieved with the organization of the Women’s Central American Cup and the performance of the local team in the tournament.

The Belize Volleyball Federation organized a parade with the players on a caravan that toured the capital of the smallest Central American country.

The Belize National Team finished in a historic second place and suddenly their players have turned into instant celebrities cheered by the public who watched the parade around the city.

The event was a big success and the Volleyball Civic Center was inaugurated as a sport facility for volleyball and other disciplines which meets all the conditions for world class events.
