Commission Meetings to take part in Baja California

 

TIJUANA, Mexico, January 8 2014 - The Norceca Volleyball Confederation will host part of its commission meetings of the year 2015 in the city of Tijuana for the first time ever.

 

A coordination meeting took place at the Baja California High Performance Center to analyze the main details for the beginning of the works.

 

The Sports Organization Commission Meeting, along with Beach Volleyball’s, Development’s as well as Technical and Coaches’ will present their reports from January 10 through 16.

 

“This is a very special occasion because it is the first time the Norceca gives us the chance to do the activities of their commissions in a city that hosts one of the development centers in the region,” said Saúl Castro, General Director of the Baja California Sports and Physical Culture Institute.

 

The Norceca Staff arrived in Tijuana earlier this week to participate at the preliminary meeting, while the arrival of the commission members is expected to begin on Friday.

 

The Sports Organization Commission will be the first to meet at the California Ball Room of the Grand Hotel Tijuana on January 10 and 11, and will be followed by the Beach Volleyball Commission Meeting on the 12th and 13th.

 

On January 14 the Development Commission will hold its works while the Technical and Coaches’ will work on January 15.

 

The final activities will take part at a Development Seminar on January 16 at the FIVB-Norceca Development Center that has also hosted several courses.

 

Members of the Norceca Staff who arrived in Baja California in advance were Arateide Caceres, Nelson Ramirez, Indhira Ramirez and Carmen Willmore.
