Continental Seminar for Trainers and Physical Therapists begins in Tijuana 

TIJUANA, Mexico, June 24, 2017 – The first continental seminar for Physical therapists and trainers organized by the FIVB-Norceca Regional Development Center.

The course is directed by instructor Marlon Lopez Cabrera, who has worked with several professional baseball clubs in terms of physical preparation.

The opening ceremony took place at the Baja California High Performance Center Multi-sports building with the presence of local authorities and seminar director, who began with the theoretical and practical sessions.

On behalf of Baja California Sports Institute Director and Regional Development Center General Director, Saul Castro Verdugo, the Director of Image and Promotion and Norceca Confederation Member, Jorge Almada Bravo, welcomed the attendants.

In the beginning of seminar works, Marlon Lopez remarked how important physical preparation is for high performance teams in any sport, as well as the scientific and physiological knowledge as a common basis.

“We are here to improve our experiences, always with the confidence of sharing any doubt or curiosity to know a Little bit more in how we can work to have a better performance with our athletes and better results,” said Lopez who is also professor at the Baja California State University Sports Faculty.

Atrendants of Costa Rica, Mexico and the United States arrived in Tijuana to participate in this seminar to update theirs skills and receive a certification as part of the initiatives and activities promoted by the Development Center.
