Copa Claro of School Volleyball in Dominican Republic

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, November 1, 2018 – The fourth edition of the U18 Copa Claro of Female of School Volleyball will be contested from November 3 to December 2 with the participation of 52 teams representing private and public schools of the Dominican Republic.

The event is sponsored by Claro in cooperation with NORCECA Confederation, presided over by Cristobal Marte Hoffiz.

The participating schools are located in the provinces of Santo Domingo, La Romana, La Vega. Santiago, San Francisco de Macorís, Puerto Plata and the Distrito Nacional.

The matches of the regular series will be disputed in Santiago and Santo Domingo. Last year’s champions was the Luis Muñoz Rivera College.

NORCECA Confederation is supplying all the Molten balls for the tournament which were delivered in a ceremony held on Thursday at the premises of the volleyball entity.

Carlos Lalane Messina and Nelson Ramirez, director of logistics and competition, respectively, attended the ceremony. NORCECA was represented y Marte Hoffiz and Arateide Caceres, director of national federations.
