Course for Referees, Scorers and Line Judges

concludes in Santo Domingo

 

   

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, March 23, 2015 – The Regional Volleyball Development Center in the Dominican Republic and the Dominican Republic Federation officially closed the National Course for Referees, Scorers and Line Judges that took place from March 20 to 22 in Santo Domingo.

 

Nelson Ramirez, director of the center, and Ramon García, president of the national federation, attended the closing ceremony and presented the respective credentials and certificates to the participants in the course.

 

The participants were evaluated and after complying with all the requirements received the credentials which authorized them to officiate as national referees in the local competitions.

 

Ramirez expressed his satisfaction for the performances of the participants during the course and also thanked NORCECA Confederation, under the presidency of Cristobal Marte Hoffiz, for the support in the organization of the course.

 

He also informed that next weekend from March 26 to 29, a National Course for Coaches with the same standards of organization.

 

Garcia congratulated the participants saying that the Dominican Volleyball Federation will continue working to develop its technical staff so they can be part of the national competitions.

 

He added that three of the six top evaluated participants will form part of the personnel to work in the Pan American Cups to be held in 2015.

 

The course was organized under the supervision of Salvador Bautista Montes de Oca, Julio Martínez and Bienvenido Mateo.
