Data Volley & Data Video Course in Peru

 

LIMA, Peru, December 19, 2014 – The Peruvian Volleyball Federation organized its first course of Data Volley & Data Video in collaboration with the South American Volleyball Confederation (CSV), the Volleyball Pan American Union (UPV) and the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB).

 

A total of 32 persons, including representatives from the nine clubs of the Peruvian Volleyball Superior League, took part in the course.

 

The Data Volley & Data Video took place at the High Performance Center of the Sport National Village from December 16-19 and it is the first of many international courses to help the progress of Peruvian volleyball.

 

Yeivic Jimenez, FIVB Instructor and member of the Technical Commission of the Volleyball Pan American Union, was the director of the course and remarked the importance of the course for the technical evolution of the national teams and the Peruvian clubs.

 

Luis Linares Pablo, president of the Peruvian Volleyball Federation, said that “our intention is to have more than one person with the knowledge and practice in Data Volley and use this tool for the benefit of the national teams and the national league.”
