Dominican Republic advanced to the Semifinal

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico, September 5, 2016 -  Dominican Republic advanced to the semifinal by defeating Costa Rica 3-0 in the action of the Quarterfinals of U-18 Continental Championship.

The Dominican squad controlled the match with scores of 25-15, 25-11, and 25-17.

"I could use all my players, now concentrate to face Mexico in Semifinal, play hard to qualify to the Final. That's our first goal," said, Alexandre Ceccato, Dominican Republic head coach..

Meanwhile the coach of Costa Rica, Andres Lopez said, “The girls had a good moments during the match. We knew we were facing a world power”.
