Marcos Kwiek, Coach of Dominican Republic: “We were favorites to win the match but the girls took it very seriously and I am very glad about that. We had to battle against a very promising young Cuban team with some very tall players.”

Wilfredo Robinson, Coach of Cuba: “It is always a challenge to go for the victory, I think my team can give a little bit more than what they showed today. Our purpose here is to develop our players and today’s match was important in that process.”
