Girls welcome a break at Universal Studios

ORLANDO, Florida, June 26, 2018 – After playing six matches in two days the girls from the Dominican Republic were in much need of a break so it was fitting the relaxing time they spent at Universal Studios and the ESPN World Wide of Sports where all the international teams enjoyed the many attractions of the famous parks in Orlando.

The organizers of the AAU National Volleyball Championships had scheduled the visit and the players were happy to comply with the invitation on Tuesday afternoon.

After winning their three matches of the second day to improve to a 6-0 record at the 18 International Division, the Dominican girls celebrated their success thus far together with players representing Australia, Brazil, China, Colombia, Israel, Puerto Rico and Slovenia.

The girls really had a great time at the amusement parks and had enough time to visit the gift shops and acquire memorabilia related to them.

Following the visit, all the players were invited to a dinner at the Hard Rock Café which is one of the sponsors of the tournament

The International Division event concludes on Wednesday with Dominican Republic playing their last two matches against Brazil and Australia. Puerto Rico (5-1) plays Colombia (Sport Voyager) and Slovenia while Brazil (4-1) competes against Australia, Dominican Republic and Colombia (Pony’s Club)
