“We obtained the result we were looking for in straight sets and we won five points. The team was looser and we did a good job; we played as we prepared during today’s morning session. Belize has a lot of potential and they have strength, in my opinion de lack technique. Now we must think about the match against Costa Rica, which we need to win,” noted Guatemala’s captain

Andy Leonardo.

Elton Anderson, captain of Belize said: “We fought hard but we made a lot of mistakes; I believe the referee had some faults too. We just have to forget about this game and come out tomorrow much better. Guatemala is a disciplined team and they have very good defense”.
