RIMINI, Italy, June 11, 2021 – Serbia claimed a
3-1 (25-23, 25-17, 19-25, 27-25) victory over
United States in the final day of the third
round at the FIVB Men’s Volleyball Nations
League on Friday.
Both teams scored with 55 attacks but the
Americans made 25 unforced errors to 20 by the
Serbians. The winners led in blocks 8-5 and the
losers held the edge in serves 7-5.
Uros Kovacevic and Aleksandar Atanasijevic were
the best scorers for Serbia with 22 and 17
points, respectively. Marko Ivovic added 14.
Torey Defalco was the best American with 22
points while Benjamin Patch added 11. |
