Level II Coaches Course in Guanajuato

 

GUANAJUATO, Mexico, November 22, 2018 – A Level II International Coaches Course opened on Wednesday in Guanajuato under the direction of FIVB Instructor Juan Cartagena of Puerto Rico.

 

Twenty-eight participants from Costa Rica, Peru, Colombia, United States and host Mexico are registered in the course.

 

The course is organized in coordination with the NORCECA/FIVB Regional Development Center in the Dominican Republic.

 

The opening ceremony was attended by Prof. Rafael Anaya, Technical Director of the Mexican Volleyball Federation, who represented its president Jesus Perales.

 

Also present in the activity were Alejandro Borjon, president of the Guanajuato Volleyball Association, Isaac Noe Piña, Director of the Sport Commission of the State of Guanajuato and Jorge Azair, Technical Director of the Men’s National Team of Mexico.

 

The Regional Development Center is represented by Lisandra Ramirez as the course supervisor.

 

Borjon expressed gratitude for the opportunity to have this important course in Guanajuato adding that he expects to keep organizing different courses in the state.

 

Piña said the Sport Commission is committed to continue developing the volleyball throughout the state.

 

For his part the FIVB Instructor invited Prof. Azair to address a message of motivation to the participants and he expressed his satisfaction for the opportunity to contribute to the capacitation of the coaches and saying that he always will be available for all their needs to continue developing the volleyball throughout the country.
