Level III National Course for Referees, Line Judges and Scorers

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, March 16, 2018 – The Dominican Volleyball Federation and the NORCECA/FIVB Regional Development Center in Dominican Republic have opened a Level III National Course for Referees, Scorers and Line Judges with 40 participants hailing from all over the country.

During the opening ceremony, Ramon Alexis Garcia, president of the federation, made reference to the number of participants saying to be happy for the quantity in attendance, and remarking on the importance to follow the educational plan.

He also congratulated the Development Center for the efforts taken to qualify the students, following the direction and guidance from Dr. Ary Graça, president of FIVB and Cristobal Marte Hoffiz, president of NORCECA.

The course concludes on Sunday March 18 and is under the direction of Salvador Montes de Oca, member of the NORCECA Refereeing Commission, Dennis Cespedes, a top class international referee of FIVB and Bienvenido Mateo as instructor for the electronic sheet.
