NORCECA Board and EC meet in Santo Domingo

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic June 8, 2019 – The NORCECA Board of Administration and Executive Committee began their two-day annual meetings at the headquarters of the institution in Santo Domingo on Saturday.

The meeting was chaired by Cristobal Marte Hoffiz, president of NORCECA, and Edgar Alvarado, first executive vice president.

The members of the board were informed by Marte Hoffiz of a full report on the Presidential Activities in 2018 that included the competitions at every level.

They also discussed the electoral system and its impact in FIVB to be implemented during the NORCECA Congress to be held on June next year in Punta Cana the tourism destination located in the eastern part of the Dominican Republic.

Alvarado, president of AFECAVOL, and Mushtaque Mohammed, president of CAZOVA, presented reports of activities corresponding to their respective zonal associations.

Then Mme Olga Rivas, finance manager of NORCECA, presented the financial report, budget and assets of the institution which was received satisfactorily by the members.

The members of the Board of Administration present in the meeting were:

Marte Hoffiz, Alvarado, Mohammed, Glenn Quinlan of ECVA; Mireya Luis of the Central Zone,  Lori Okimura, Felix Sabio, Jaime Lamboy, Ariel Sainz, Warrenton Dixon, Sabinah Clement and Lucille Hobson, Wilbur Harrigan, José Luis Jiménez Lao and Dave Carey.
