NORCECA presents second donation of 1,000 Molten balls

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, March 14, 2018 – The NORCECA Volleyball Confederation and the Dominican Federation has presented the Ministry of Sports and Recreation of the Dominican Republic the donation of 1,000 Molten balls to be used in the school programs.

It is the second part of  a total donation of 4,000 Molten balls to be utilized over the calendar year.

Cristobal Marte Hoffiz and Ramón Garcia, president of NORCECA and the Dominican Federation, presented the donation which was received by Danilo Díaz, Minister of Sports.

Marte Hoffiz said NORCECA is currently taking steps to request from Molten Corporation the same kind of donation for the years 2019 and 2020.

“We are very glad, Minister Diaz, since you are on the right path to take the sport to the schools and we congratulate you on that. We have been receiving reports from the provinces about the distribution you are making at a national level,” Marte Hoffiz said.

“Next year we will continue knocking doors to receive bigger donations for the wonderful program you are implementing under the leadership of President Danilo Medina and the Ministers of Sports and Education, respectively.

Minister Diaz expressed his gratitude for the important contribution, the second donation of 1,000 balls to be distributed among the Physical Education Teachers working in the public school system of the Dominican Republic.

He said the Molten 5000 Balls are the same used in the Pan American Games, Central American and Caribbean Games and several professional leagues, remarking on the quality of the product.
