Nathaly Jimenez of Honduras named MVP at AFECAVOL U-18

 

TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras, August 19, 2017. - Nathaly Jimenez of Honduras was named the Most Valuable Player MVBP of the XII AFECAVOL Girls’ U-18 Central American Championship after her team won the Gold Medal undefeated at Jorge A. Galeano Gymnasium in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

 

Nathaly Jimenez received the award as MVP from the hands of Felix Sabio, President of Honduras Volleyball Federation. She was also awarded as the Best Scorer and 1st Best Middle Blocker. Jimenez had a spectacular tournament setting a new Central American record scoring 41 points in a match.

 

Also from gold medalist, Reer James was the Best Server of the event.

 

Costa Rica took home several awards, Lakysha Thmpson received the award as 2nd Best Blocker, Pamela Padilla as the Best Setter, Ana Rojas as the Best Opposite and Mary Alfaro took the awards of 2nd Best Spiker and Best Receiver.

 

From the bronze medalist winners Guatemala, Paola Alvarado was awarded as the 1st Best Spiker, while Ana Granados received the awards of Best Libero and Best Digger.
