SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, March 30, 2015 – The national
course for volleyball coaches of the Dominican Republic
successfully concluded with the presentation of the
corresponding certificates to all participants.
The NORCECA sponsored activity was organized in collaboration
with the Dominican Republic Volleyball Federation (FEDOVOLI).
Eighty-three participants from the 32 provinces of the Dominican
Republic took part in the three-day course conducted by Cuban
Ariel Sainz with the assistance of Dominican Wilson Sanchez.
Both Sainz and Sanchez have had experience coaching national
teams in their respective countries at different level.
Luis Mejia Oviedo, president of the Dominican Republic Olympic
Committee and Cristobal Marte Hoffiz, president of NORCECA
Confederation, also addressed the participants during the
three-day course held at the FIVB and NORCECA Regional
Development Center in Santo Domingo.
Nelson Rodriguez, Malbeiry Mercado Garcia and Cesar Alcantara
Cabulla were recognized as the participants with higher marks
during the theoretical and practical examinations. |
