Nicaraguans make 1-2 in Men’s U21

CIUDAD GUATEMALA, Guatemala, July 14, 2019 - Nicaraguan couples were awarded with the Gold and Silver of the Men’s segment of the XII Central American U21 Volleyball Beach Volleyball Championship which took place on the sand fields of the Mars field in the Guatemalan capital.

Denis Lopez and Jefferson Cascante defeated teammates Cristopher Cascante and Sergio Cordero by scores of 21-11 and 21-9. Lopez/Cascante successfully defended the title repeating what was achieved last year in Puerto Cortes, Honduras.

On the other hand, Francis Hause and Michael Jenkins of Belize achieved a historic third place in the tournament, by beating in two sets (21-1, 24-22) Costa Rica 2, formed by Jareth Muñoz and Sebastián Núñez.
