Nuevo Leon Gym opens with First Men’s Final Four

MONTERREY, Mexico, November 5, 2013 - The Physical and Sports State Institute “INDE” will be hosting the First Men’s Final Four Cup that runs from November 4-10 at the brand new Gymnasium Nuevo Leon Unido.

This will be the first international tournament as the Gymnasium Nuevo Leon Unido was inaugurated one week ago by INDE where they announced to be set for the I Men’s Final Four Cup as its grand opening.

The Mexican Volleyball Federation presided by Jesus Perales, together with the organizing committee made the final adjustments for the preliminary inspection conducted by NORCECA officials.

“The state hasn’t built a sports venue of this magnitude since 1978; it has the capacity to accommodate six thousand spectators and will lodge volleyball, basketball and handball state teams. For volleyball it’s an honor to be part of the opening festivities with a historic event, the first Men’s Final Four,” expressed Perales.

Professor Nelson Ramirez, President of the Control Committee, stated: “I am pleased with the venue and I praise the Mexican Federation for their efforts to host once again an international event”.

The finishing details will be completed on Tuesday, while the control committee makes their final inspection following the preliminary inquiry with the participating teams.
