Perales joins organization of FIVB U-19 World Championship

 

TIJUANA, Mexico, April 17, 2013 – The new president of the Mexican Volleyball Federation Jesus Perales has joined the working group towards the organization of the FIVB Boy’s U-19 World Championship to be held in Tijuana and Mexicali from June 27 to July 4.

 

Mexico will host also the U-23 FIVB Women’s World Championship to be held in city still to be announced.

 

Perales visited the facilities of the Baja California High Performance Center, the training base of the U-18 and U-20 female national teams who are preparing for the world championships in Thailand and Czech Republic respectively.

 

Perales met with FIVB Executive Vice President Saul Castro Verdugo, General Director of Baja California Sport and Physical Culture Institute and Alberto Arreola, president of the BC Volleyball State Association.

 

Estanislao Vachino of Argentina, who is in charge of the U-18 and U-20 national teams, also attended the meeting.

 

Perales plans to be in the Dominican Republic on Thursday to participate in the NORCECA Executive Committee and Board of Administration annual meetings during the weekend.
