Mr. Omori was presented with a jersey of the Dominican team by the captain of the squad Bethania de la Cruz as a gratitude for all the hospitality and excellent treatment received during the stay in Okayama.

The president of the city wished the best of luck to the Dominican team that will play in Pool D with Brazil, Serbia, Kazakhstan, Puerto Rico and Kenya.

The final preparation of the Dominican team was considered a success by Mr. Marte Hoffiz who also expressed thanks to all the community of Okayama.

The Dominicans defeated the local team the Seagulls and played several sets under certain game conditions against Bulgaria.

Bulgaria and Dominican Republic didn’t face each other in a full match as the coaches of both teams preferred to play sets under different situations that come up during the matches.

“Everything concluded well and the team went through a good preparation before the start of the world championship,” Marte Hoffiz said.
