Successful Data Volley workshop in Puerto Rico

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico, October 8, 2019 - About 20 statisticians took part in the Data Volley workshop offered by the Puerto Rican Volleyball Federation with great success over the weekend.

The workshop was directed by the international instructor, Yeivic Jiménez, who presented different details of the use of the Data Volley 4 program.

 “It was a good workshop, where the participants showed a lot of enthusiasm and interest in learning or improving their skills in the use of Data Volley,” said Jimenez.

“The group worked so well that many advances were achieved in the four days,” explained Jiménez who is the statistician of the Dominican Republic Women’s National Team.

During the closing of the Workshop, the president of the Puerto Rican Volleyball Federation, Dr. César Trabanco, thanked the participants for their interest and support.

“This workshop is part of the Federation's vision of educating in different areas linked to the game. Every day technology is more important in our game and we want to develop different Data Volley technicians not only for the teams, but also for the different teams of both leagues. ”

The Workshop is the first held on the Island in just over 15 years.
