Daniel Fisher, coach of USA, said his team played up to expectations, using reserve players and working specific aspects of the game ahead of the next matches that will be more difficult.

U.S. Captain Megan Courtney said the match was interesting because they could use and combine their attacks while the reserve players performed very well with the offensive systems.

Francisco Cruz, the Cuban coach of Trinidad & Tobago said they were playing against one of the best teams they are happy because despite the short training they were able to reach double digits in all the sets.

Renele Forde, captain of Trinidad & Tobago, thinks his team will improve every day and facing teams with more experience will be helpful as they know their capacity to improve, highlighting the third set when they totaled 19 points.
