USA secure spot in Hato Mayor Men’s title match

HATO MAYOR, Dominican Republic, November 2, 2019 - The United States will be present at the men's final of the Hato Mayor Beach Volleyball Tournament, the ninth stop of the 2019 NORCECA Circuit.

In the men's branch, the first semifinal will be an All-American with Tim Brewster and Jonathan Ferrari measured against Jeremy Casebeer and Chaim Schalk. The other will be between Canadians Simon Fecteau-Boutin and Jake MacNeil and Nicaraguans Rubén Mora and Dany López.

In the quarterfinals, Brewster/Ferrari beat Puerto Ricans Kevin Gonzalez and Cristian Encarnación 2-0 (21-17, 21-19), and Casebeer / Schalk dominated Canadians Ian Towe and Sergei Grabovskyy 2-0 (21-19 , 21-8).

Fecteau-Boutin and MacNeil beat Salvadorans Carlos Escobar and David Vargas 2-0 (21-17, 21-14) and Mora/López beat Costa Ricans Boris Duarte and Sebastián Valenciano 2-0 (21-10, 21-15).

The men's semifinals will start at 11 in the morning and the final will be at 4 in the afternoon..
