US women's duo wins gold in Punta Cana

PUNTA CANA, Dominican Republic, October 4, 2024.- Americans Xolani Hode and Alexis Durish defeated the Canadian duo of Amy Ozee and Kaylee Glagau 2-0 (21-7, 21-16) on Friday to claim the gold medal at the fifth stop of the 2024 NORCECA Beach Volleyball Tour held at Los Corales beach in Punta Cana. Americans Mariah Whalen/Molly Phillips took bronze by defeating T'ara Austin/Taylor Buckner of the Virgin Islands 2-0 (21-6, 21-13). In fifth place were Sophia Hladyniuk/Abbey Thorup (CAN) who beat Dominicans Darlenys Olivo/Crismil Paniagua 2-0 (21-8, 21-13), while in seventh place were Laura Molina/Aliza Aguilar (CRC) after beating Daniela Vigil/Karla Tovar (ESA) 2-1 (21-17, 18-21, 15-8).  More Español

Cuba takes the men's gold at the fifth stop of the 2024 NORCECA Beach Tour

PUNTA CANA, Dominican Republic, October 4, 2024.- Cubans Damián Gómez and Kens Veranes defeated the Dominican Republic duo Hayerlin De Jesús/Rolvin Maldonado 2-0 (21-19, 21-19) this Friday to take the gold´s medal at the fifth stop of the 2024 NORCECA Beach Volleyball Tour held on the sand courts of Los Corales beach in Punta Cana. Canada, U.S. Virgin Islands, and USA Teams Advance to Women’s Semifinals in Punta Cana

NORCECA 2024 Tour Returns with the Fifth Stop in Punta Cana

PUNTA CANA, Dominican Republic, October 1, 2024. - The action of the 2024 NORCECA Beach Volleyball Tour returns with the Fifth Stop, to be held from October 2 to 4 at Los Corales Beach in Punta Cana. This marks the eighth consecutive year that Punta Cana hosts the most important Beach Volleyball event in the region, bringing together teams that earn significant ranking points. During Tuesday's preliminary meeting, the participation of 14 teams per gender was confirmed, representing thirteen member countries of the NORCECA Volleyball Confederation. More Español

The 2024 NORCECA Beach Tour Returns
