Coaches Ready for the Men's Volleyball Challenge at Santo Domingo 2026

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, July 24, 2026. – The wait is over. With the pools set and the competition about to begin, the head coaches of the eight teams competing in the men's volleyball tournament at the Santo Domingo 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games said their squads are ready to face a championship that promises a high level of competition and, in addition to the regional medals, offers valuable points toward the NORCECA Continental Ranking. From July 25 to 30, the Professor Ricardo Gioriver Arias Volleyball Palace will host the region's top teams in a tournament where every match will be crucial in the race for the podium. Ahead of the opening serve, the coaches shared their expectations for this edition of the Games, assessed the level of their opponents, and spoke about the goals they have set for the competition. Cuba Returns to Defend Men's Volleyball Gold at Santo Domingo 2026

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, July 21, 2026. – Defending champion Cuba returns to the Central American and Caribbean Games determined to retain the men's volleyball title when competition gets underway from July 25 to 30 at the renovated Professor Ricardo Gioriver Arias Volleyball Palace, one of the competition venues of the 25th Central American and Caribbean Games Santo Domingo 2026. Eight national teams will compete for the regional crown in a tournament that promises high-level competition among some of the strongest volleyball nations in Central America and the Caribbean. Pool A features defending champion Cuba alongside Guatemala, Puerto Rico, and Venezuela. Pool B includes host Dominican Republic, Colombia, Mexico, and Suriname.  More  Español

Santo Domingo 2026 Welcomes the Region's Volleyball Elite

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, July 20, 2026. – Volleyball will once again be among the premier sports at the 25th Central American and Caribbean Games Santo Domingo 2026, as the region's premier multi-sport event runs from July 21 to August 8. The renovated Professor Ricardo Gioriver Arias Volleyball Palace, with a seating capacity of 3,500 spectators, will host the men's tournament from July 25 to 30 and the women's competition from August 2 to 7.  More  Español
