United States Wins Fourth Straight NORCECA Final Six Title

PONCE, Puerto Rico, August 29, 2026. – The United States won its fourth consecutive NORCECA Men’s Final Six title after defeating Canada 3-0 (25-15, 25-18, 25-21) in Saturday’s final at the Juan “Pachín” Vicéns Auditorium. The United States completed the tournament undefeated with a 7-0 record. The victory raised its Final Six medal count to four gold and two bronze medals. Canada earned its fifth silver medal in tournament history after making its fifth appearance in the final. The United States held the advantage in attacks (31-27), blocks (16-3), and aces (6-1). Canada committed 22 errors, while the United States registered 23. Jacob Pasteur led the United States with 14 points, including 10 attacks, one block, and three aces. Mexico Wins NORCECA Final Six Bronze in Five-Set Battle Against Puerto Rico

PONCE, Puerto Rico, August 29, 2026. – Mexico won the bronze medal at the 2026 NORCECA Men’s Final Six after defeating host Puerto Rico 3-2 (25-21, 25-18, 21-25, 24-26, 15-12) in a five-set battle at the Juan “Pachín” Vicéns Auditorium. Mexico took control by winning the opening two sets and, after Puerto Rico forced a decisive fifth set, recovered from an early deficit in the tie-break to secure third place. Dominican Republic Finishes Fifth at NORCECA Men’s Final Six with Win Over Guatemala

PONCE, Puerto Rico, August 29, 2026. – The Dominican Republic defeated Guatemala 3-0 (25-23, 25-20, 25-18) on Saturday afternoon to secure fifth place at the NORCECA Men’s Final Six at the Juan “Pachín” Vicéns Auditorium. With the loss, Guatemala concluded the tournament in sixth place. The Dominican Republic was led offensively by Moisés Ortiz with 15 points, followed by Cristofer Andújar with 10. Guatemala’s Andy Leonardo Blanco led all scorers with 20 points. The Dominican Republic held the advantage in attacks 45-39, blocks 4-3, and aces 9-1. PONCE, Puerto Rico, August 27, 2026. – The United States completed an undefeated preliminary round at the NORCECA Men’s Final Six with a four-set victory over host Puerto Rico on Thursday at the Juan “Pachín” Vicéns Auditorium. Mexico Bounces Back to Defeat Guatemala in Four Sets

PONCE, Puerto Rico, August 27, 2026. – Mexico bounced back after dropping a hard-fought opening set to defeat Guatemala 3-1 (27-29, 25-22, 25-23, 25-20) on Thursday, closing the preliminary round of the NORCECA Men’s Final Six at the Juan “Pachín” Vicéns Auditorium. With the victory, Mexico, already qualified for the semifinals, finished the preliminary round with a 3-2 record, while Guatemala closed with a 0-5 mark. Guatemala will face Dominican Republic for positions 5-6. Guatemala challenged Mexico from the start and prevailed in a tightly contested opening set that extended into extra points. Ponce, Puerto Rico – August 25, 2026 – Mexico earned its second victory at the NORCECA Men’s Final Six by defeating host Puerto Rico in four sets, in action held at the Juan “Pachín” Vicéns Auditorium. The set scores were 17-25, 25-17, 25-21, 25-22. Both teams now hold a 2-1 record. With the match tied at one set apiece, Puerto Rico and Mexico reached 19 points in the third set, following an attacking error from zone two by Diego González Castañeda. The final tie came at 20, when Mexico took a 22-20 lead thanks to a service error by Pelegrín Vargas and an ace from Miguel Ángel García Reséndiz, maintaining control for the remainder of the set.  More  Español

PONCE, Puerto Rico, August 24, 2026.- Puerto Rico earned its second consecutive victory at the NORCECA Men’s Final Six after outlasting Canada in a demanding five-set battle 3-2 (25-22, 23-25, 25-23, 18-25, 15-9) at the Juan “Pachín” Vicéns Auditorium. For Canada, it was their first loss of the tournament, bringing their record to 1-1. With the match tied at one set apiece, the third set developed into a tight battle down the stretch. Klistan Lawrence broke a 22-22 tie with an attack from zone two, and Puerto Rico reached set point at 24-22 with a triple block against Kaden Schmidt. PONCE, Puerto Rico, August 24, 2026.- The United States earned its second consecutive victory at the NORCECA Men’s Final Six, defeating Guatemala in straight sets 25-19, 25-13, 25-16 on Monday at the Juan “Pachín” Vicéns Auditorium.For Guatemala, the result marked its second loss in as many matches in the tournament.From the opening whistle, the United States imposed its rhythm, power and speed on offense. After taking the first two sets, the three-time defending champions continued to dictate play in the third, gradually pulling away to a 16-9 advantage on a back-row attack by Patrick Rogers before comfortably closing out the match.The United States featured a balanced and efficient offense. After splitting the first two sets, Puerto Rico prevailed in a closely contested third set. Ismael Alomar put the hosts at set point 24-23 with an attack through the middle, and Pelegrín Vargas followed with a block on Adrián José Figueroa Lantigua to close the set 25-23. The Dominican Republic battled back in the fourth set, erasing a deficit to tie the score at 21 following a Puerto Rico attacking error. Canada controlled the opening set 25-14, but Guatemala raised its level in the second and third sets, keeping both close and forcing the Canadians to execute in the closing stages. After Canada edged the second set 25-23, the third remained tied as late as 16-16. From that point, Canada pulled ahead with an attack through the middle, followed by a Guatemala attacking error from zone two and an ace from captain Jeremy Love, building an advantage that helped the Canadians close the set 25-21 and secure the straight-set victory. PONCE, Puerto Rico, August 23, 2026.- The United States opened the NORCECA Men’s Final Six with a 3-1 (32-30, 25-19, 22-25, 25-20) victory over Mexico at the Juan “Pachín” Vicéns Auditorium in Ponce. Both teams battled closely from the start. In the first set, Mexico took a 21-19 lead following an attack by Diego González Castañeda from zone two, but the United States tied the score at 23 and forced the set into extra points. The teams remained even until 30-30, when an attack by Sean Kelly followed by an offensive error from Yasutaka Sanay Heredia gave the United States the set 32-30. The United States found a steadier rhythm in the second set. With Sterling Foley contributing offensively, the Americans built a 19-14 advantage and remained in control. The preliminary round will be played in a round-robin format from August 23 to 27. The United States enters the event as the three-time defending champion. PONCE, Puerto Rico, August 19, 2026.- The NORCECA Men’s Final Six returns to Ponce, Puerto Rico, for its sixth edition, to be held from August 23-29 at the Juan “Pachín” Vicéns Auditorium. The competition will bring together host Puerto Rico, Canada, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Mexico and the United States. The United States enters the competition as the three-time defending champion after winning consecutive titles in 2023, 2024 and 2025. Last year in Ponce, the United States won the gold medal, Puerto Rico finished with silver and the Dominican Republic earned bronze. Mexico won the inaugural edition in 2021, while Cuba claimed the title in 2022. The tournament returns to the Juan “Pachín” Vicéns Auditorium, which also hosted the 2025 edition. More  Español
