Tessa Larkin Named MVP of the NORCECA U23 Women’s Pan American Cup

MANAGUA, Nicaragua, September 6, 2026.- USA outside hitter Tessa Larkin was named Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the 2026 NORCECA U23 Women’s Pan American Cup after helping her team win its second consecutive title and leading the gold medal match against the Dominican Republic with 20 points. Larkin finished the tournament with 66 points, including 51 kills, 10 blocks and five aces, playing a key role for USA throughout the competition, particularly in challenging matches against the Dominican Republic and Mexico. USA Back-to-Back Champions of the NORCECA U23 Women’s Pan American Cup

MANAGUA, Nicaragua, September 6, 2026.- USA won their second consecutive NORCECA U23 Women’s Pan American Cup title after defeating the Dominican Republic 3-1 (25-15, 25-10, 23-25, 25-18) in the gold medal match on Sunday at the Alexis Argüello Sports Complex. USA finished the tournament undefeated and dominated the gold medal match offensively, holding a commanding 55-27 advantage in kills and a 12-7 edge in blocks. The Dominican Republic held a slight 4-3 advantage in aces, while committing 28 errors to USA’s 30. Canada Wins Bronze Medal After Five-Set Battle Against Mexico

MANAGUA, Nicaragua, September 6, 2026.- Canada won the bronze medal at the NORCECA U23 Women’s Pan American Cup after defeating Mexico in an exciting five-set battle 3-2 (24-26, 25-21, 25-23, 25-27, 15-11) on Sunday at the Polideportivo Alexis Argüello. Canada showed its ability to respond throughout the match and made the difference with an offense led by opposite Lauryn Hovey, who finished with 23 points. Claire Carter contributed 17 points, Veronica Dickson 14 and Maryn Boldon 12, while Canada’s solid blocking helped contain Mexico’s offense. For Mexico, Michelle Lizárraga led the offense with 15 points, while Aime Topete and Arleth Márquez added 14 points each. Canada held a commanding 64-48 advantage in attacks and also led Mexico in blocks 11-9, while committing fewer errors, 29 to Mexico’s 38. Costa Rica Finishes Fifth with Dominant Blocking Performance Against Nicaragua

MANAGUA, Nicaragua, September 6, 2026.- Costa Rica closed its participation in the NORCECA U23 Women’s Pan American Cup in fifth place after defeating Nicaragua in straight sets 3-0 (25-15, 26-24, 25-12) on Sunday at the Polideportivo Alexis Argüello. Blocking was one of the main differences for Costa Rica, which held a commanding 12-2 advantage in that category and also led in attacks 39-28. MANAGUA, Nicaragua, September 5, 2026.- The Dominican Republic returned to the final of the NORCECA U23 Women’s Pan American Cup after a two-year absence, following a straight-set 3-0 (25-15, 25-11, 25-10) victory over Nicaragua. Costa Rica Wins Five-Set Battle Against Nicaragua

MANAGUA, Nicaragua, September 3, 2026.- Costa Rica earned its first victory at the NORCECA U23 Women’s Pan American Cup, outlasting host Nicaragua 3-2 (26-24, 25-22, 23-25, 25-27, 15-11) in a thrilling five-set battle. Blocking proved decisive for Costa Rica, which recorded an impressive 22 blocks compared to Nicaragua’s 10. The hosts held the advantage in attacks 59-46 and serves 10-4, while Nicaragua committed 42 errors compared to Costa Rica’s 30. Dominican Republic Remains Undefeated After Defeating Mexico

MANAGUA, Nicaragua, September 2, 2026.- The Dominican Republic remained undefeated at the NORCECA U23 Women’s Pan American Cup after defeating Mexico 3-0 (25-17, 25-21, 29-27) on the second day of competition. It was the Dominican Republic’s second victory after defeating Costa Rica in its opening match, while Mexico moved to a 1-1 record after beating Nicaragua on the first day. After taking the first set 25-17, the Dominican Republic had to overcome a large deficit in the second. Mexico jumped out to an 8-0 lead and went ahead 10-3, but the Dominicans battled back to tie the score at 14 and took control in the second half of the set to win 25-21. United States Remains Undefeated at U23 Pan American Cup

MANAGUA, Nicaragua, September 2, 2026.- The United States earned its second consecutive victory and its second straight-sets win at the NORCECA U23 Women’s Pan American Cup, defeating Costa Rica 3-0 (25-17, 25-13, 25-19). After an even start, the United States began to pull away after the 11-point mark in the first set. With greater offensive efficiency, the U.S. extended its lead to 20-13 and went on to take the set 25-17 on a powerful attack by Isabel Incinelli. The second set followed a similar pattern. Costa Rica stayed close early, but the United States once again took control and opened a comfortable advantage with Ireland Real and Nyla Livings leading the offense. Mexico Sets the Pace with Strong Offense Against Nicaragua

MANAGUA, Nicaragua, September 1, 2026.- Mexico defeated Nicaragua 3-0 (25-15, 25-8, 25-21) in the final match of the opening day of the NORCECA U23 Women’s Pan American Cup. Nicaragua managed to stay close during the first half of the opening set, with Mexico holding only a three-point lead (11-8). From there, Mexico began to pull away with its offense, led particularly by Michelle Lizarraga and Aime Topete, to take the set 25-15. Mexico dominated the second set.
