Gordon carried Canada to second triumph

Gordon had 17 spikes and four aces good for 21 points in the easy
triumph of Canada over Mexico in straight sets. The score was 25-14,
25-19, 25-16. Tiffany Dodds, who had four blocks and 13 points, and
Tara Smart with 10 points also helped Gordon with the load of the
Canadian offense. The Canadians serves caused many problems to the
Mexican side whose reception was below par. Canada finished in
fourth position in Pool A with a 2-3 record and Mexico ended in
fifth place with 1-4 mark.
