reserves

a

win
over
Tunisia
on
the
second
day
of
action
at
the
inaugural
USA
Global
Challenge
Thursday
night
at
the
Delco
Activity
Center.
Brook
Billings
scored
a
team-high
11
points
to
lead
five
players
with
at
least
eight
points
in
the
25-22,
25-18,
25-11
victory
as
Team
USA
improved
to
1-1
in
pool
play.
Billings
had
nine
kills
and
two
blocks
for
the
United
States,
which
dropped
a
3-0
decision
to
Russia
in
the
tournament’s
opening
match
on
Wednesday
night.
Marouan
Fehri
scored
a
match-high
12
points
while
Khaled
Belaid
and
Noureddine
Hfaiedh
each
added
eight
points
for
Tunisia,
which
was
playing
in
its
first
match
of
the
tournament.
Tunisia
is
ranked
No.
22
in
the
world
after
finishing
11th
at
the
2003
World
Cup
in
Japan.

qualified
for
the
2004
Olympic
Games
by
winning
the
Africa
Olympic
Qualifying
Tournament
in

Tunisia,

from

deficit
after

sets
to
defeat
Argentina,

in a
battle
of

Olympic
semifinalists
from
the

Summer
Games
in
Sydney,
Australia.

Baranov
scored
a
team-high
17
points
to
lead
four
players
in
double
figures
in
the
21-25,
25-20,
22-25,
25-22,
15-12
victory
as
Russia
improved
to
2-0
in
pool
