Canada Sweeps USA to Secure Direct Berth to Semifinals

MORELOS, Mexico, August 13, 2026.- Canada secured a direct berth to the semifinals of the 2026 Men’s Pan American Cup after defeating the United States 3-0 (25-19, 25-18, 34-32) on Thursday at Poliforum 2 of the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Morelos (UAEM). Canada finished pool play undefeated with a 4-0 record, taking first place in Pool A and advancing directly to the semifinals. The United States finished second with a 3-1 record and will play in the quarterfinals against the third-place team from Pool B, which will be determined later. Guatemala Tops Dominican Republic in Five Sets, but the Dominicans Advance to Quarterfinals

MORELOS, Mexico, August 13, 2026.- Guatemala played its second consecutive five-set match and this time came away with the victory, defeating the Dominican Republic 3-2 (24-26, 25-21, 21-25, 30-28, 15-12) to close pool play at the 2026 Men’s Pan American Cup on Thursday at Poliforum 2 of the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Morelos (UAEM).
