AFECAVOL members represented in NORCECA

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, October 24, 2020 - Representatives of AFECAVOL are part of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors elected during the XXV NORCECA Congress held virtually on October 24 and 25.

Félix Sabio González of Honduras forms part of the Executive Committee of NORCECA as Vice President of the organization in his capacity as President of AFECAVOL; Furthermore, Carlos Enrique Santis Rangel from Guatemala, assumes the position of Secretary General of NORCECA.

In addition, Bertha Cuadra Cuadra from Nicaragua and Allan Sharp from Belize take over as members of the Board of Directors of NORCECA.

Carolina Rivas de Andreu, of Guatemala, and Judith Sandino, of Nicaragua, chair the press and statistics commissions, respectively.

Félix Sabio as President of AFECAVOL represents the zone in the FIVB International Volleyball Federation and it was announced that the NORCECA Executive Committee approved that if necessary due to an unforeseen event of any member of the same, Allan Sharp as an alternate member in the FIVB.

Our former President of AFECAVOL Mr. Edgar Ardón Alvarado from Costa Rica, was ratified Honorary Vice-President of NORCECA; Likewise, Professor José Luis Jiménez Lao, also from Costa Rica, assumes the position of Administrative Secretary of NORCECA.
