RIMINI, Italy, June 20, 2021 – Belgium defeated
Canada in straight sets 3-0 (26-24, 25-17,
25-17) to conclude the participation of both
teams in the FIVB Women’s Volleyball Nations
League of 2021.
Belgium finished the 2021 edition with an 8-7
win-loss record while Canada ended at 3-12.
Britt Herbots, the scoring leader of the regular
season with 337 points, led Belgium with 26
points, followed by Celine Van Gestel with 14.
Kiera Van Ryk finished as the top Canadian in
the match with 18 points and also in the league
with 249 points.
Canada committed twice as many errors as Belgium
16-8 while doubling up the amount of blocks of
their rivals 8-4 |
