Daly Santana signs to continue playing in Italy

 

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico, April 17, 2018 – After concluding her first experience at the A1 Series League in Italy, one of the top three leagues in the world, Daly Santana reached an agreement with Il Bisonte of Florencia to stay with the team next season.

 

The team of Santana reached the quarterfinals stage being eliminated by Igor Novara, the champion of the SuperCopa de Italia. Santana, 23, went through am early tough process before getting into rhythm and establishing as one of the best.

 

“I am motivated by the chance to start from scratch a new season with the same club and improve my performance. This past season maybe didn’t went the way I wanted but it helped my growth. Everything I learned should help me and my team to open next season as a stronger team,” said Santana, who graduated from University of Minnesota.

 

The native of Corozal expressed her gratitude to the management of Il Bisonte for the confidence shown by keeping her representing the club.

 

“I can’t wait for the start of next season. I am going to work hard to fulfill my goals both as a team and individually. I think my focus will be on improving everything I did last season,” she said.

 

In the next weeks, Santana will join the National Team in the training camp for the international season.
