Daughter of Prisilla Rivera passes away

 

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, February 4, 2020 - It is with great sadness that we inform of the passing of Megan Prisilla, the beloved daughter of Prisilla Rivera, the captain of the women’s national team of the Dominican Republic.

 

The cheerful Megan, 16, was always much appreciated by her mother's teammates for her qualities of affection and sympathy that she offered to everyone around her.

 

Her mother Prisilla, a member of the women’s national team since 2002, was on her way to Santo Domingo from Hungary where she was playing in the local league.

 

Our prayers are with Prisilla and all members of her family for this sudden and painful loss.
