DURANGO, Mexico, August 17, 2021. - Durango is
ready to host the Men’s NORCECA Senior
Volleyball Continental Championship from August
18 to 23, event that qualifies the first and
second places to the 2022 FIVB World
Championship in Russia.
The NORCECA Men’s Continental Championship will
be held at the Auditorio del Pueblo, an iconic
venue that hosted in 2019 the U18 Pan American
Cup and will be hosting the FIVB U18 Girls’
Championship next month.
The Men’s Continental Championship also grants
ranking points that start with the qualification
process towards the 2023 Chile Pan American
Games.
The eight participating national teams are
distributed in two pools with Canada, Mexico,
Puerto Rico, and Trinidad and Tobago in pool A;
while pool B consists of reigning champion Cuba,
Dominican Republic, Guatemala and United States.
The official training sessions and team
registrations will take place on the eve of the
competition that starts with pool-play as
