The platform provides all 222 of the FIVB’s National Federations (NFs) with the opportunity to request funding for projects designed to improve the level of national teams through the supply of coaching, volleyball equipment or high-level coach the coaches clinics.

In a video message to the Volleyball Family the FIVB President said:

“I believe that now more than ever, we should be united and support each other. Investment into our beloved sport must not stop, even with the financial difficulties we are now facing. So, thanks to the good governance and administration of our sport, we can use our great financial results of 2019 to continue to invest into our sport. As I have said many times, the money that comes from sport should go back into sport! That is why, I am delighted to announce that the FIVB Projects Platform will be open from 1 August 2020 for all 222 National Federations!”
