FIVB President to welcome participants in Sport Administration Webinar

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, June 22, 2020 – The President of FIVB, Dr. Ary S. Graça F°, will participate as special guest in the opening of the Sport Administration Webinar to start on Tuesday at 20:00 EST under the organization of the NORCECA/FIVB Regional Volleyball Development Center in the Dominican Republic.

Dr. Graça has been invited by Prof. Nelson Ramírez, director of the center, to pronounce the welcoming words to all the participants which has been accepted by the FIVB President.

Cristobal Marte Hoffiz, President of NORCECA and First Executive Vice President of FIVB, will open the virtual seminar and then will introduce Dr. Graça.

The activity runs through July 15 and lecturers include Mushhtaque Mohammed of Trinidad and Tobago, Jaime Lamboy of Puerto Rico, Chris Vadala of USA Volleyball and Hitesh Malhotra of India.

The general topics of the webinar include the following:

1) History and development of volleyball, 2) Governance and Structure of a National Federation, 3) Planning and Development, 4) Development Plan, 5) Tournaments and National Championships, 6) Promotion and 7) External Relations.
