Good start for the top three women’s team in Boquerón

BOQUERON, Puerto Rico, August 5, 2016 -The top three seed in the women’s started with victories on day one of the Boqueron stage of the NORCECA Beach Volleyball Circuit on Friday.

The first seeded Sara Hughes / Kelly Claes of United States beat Valeria Porrata/Dariam Acevedo of Puerto Rico (21-11, 21-12). Meanwhile, the second qualified, Nagy/Lapointe of Canada controlled the duo of Charles/Whitenton of U.S. Virgin Islands (21-11, 21-12) .

Also, Allison Dowdy/Kelly Stockman (USA) beat the local team of Idalia Andino/Yamaris Merced (21-14-21-9).

The top two teams from each Pool advance to the quarterfinals which will be played on Saturday afternoon.
