Hundreds took part in virtual seminar of beach volleyball

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, May 29, 2020 – More than 200 attended the one-day virtual beach volleyball seminar organized by the NORCECA/FIVB Regional Development Center in the Dominican Republic.

The activity took place on Thursday and was supervised by Prof. Nelson Ramírez, director of the volleyball center. One of the participants was Mr. Cristobal Marte Hoffiz, president of NORCECA Confederation.

The instructors of the seminar were:

Brazilians Gilmario Batista, who was the moderator, and Eduardo Garrido, Venezuelan Mauro Hernández, Costa Rican Ingrid Morales, Puerto Rican Angel Peña, Spaniard Sebastián Menegozzo and Colombians Cesar Arregocez and Luis Varela.

Topics of the seminar included:

Technique in the phases of motricity development, tactics in beach volleyball, the beach volley coach, tools of scouting, adjustments of indoor volleyball to the age-group beach volleyball, physiological components in beach volleyball athletes, Data Volley evolution in beach volleyball and K1, K2.
