International Technical seminar takes place at the Baja California High Performance Center

 

TIJUANA, Mexico, January 16, 2014 - An international technical seminar was developed successfully at the Norceca-FIVB Development Center located at the Baja California High Performance Center.

 

American coaches John Kessel and Patrick Powers as well as Puerto Rican, Juan Cartagena and Brazilian Joao Moraes. The seminar was composed by a theoretical session at the Development Center meeting room, as well as practical sessions and workshops at the Multipurpose Gym.

 

One of the  practical topics was about seated volleyball. For these practices, personnel of the Baja California wheelchair and paralympic athletes participated with the support of coach Kessel.

 

On behalf of the General Director of the Baja California Sports and Physical Culture Institute, Saul Castro Verdugo, the High Performance Director, Cesar Osuna Brambila, gave the recognition diplomas to the instructors that participated at this course that was the first one of a series for this year at the Development Center located in Tijuana.

 

En representación de la confederación Norceca, la subdirectora del Centro Regional de Desarrollo de Santo Domingo, Yohanna Motta Moreno, también asistió para supervisar la organización del curso, al que también asistieron entrenadores del programa de talentos del estado.
