Logan Eggleston NORCECA U20 Most Valuable Player

 

AGUASCALIENTES, Mexico, June 23, 2018.- Logan Eggleston was awarded as the Most Valuable Player after United States beat Dominican Republic 3-0 (25-20, 25-11, 25-20) to win their seventh Women’s NORCECA U20 Championship in Aguascalientes and qualifying to the 2019 FIVB age-group World Championship.

 

During the awarding ceremony chaired by NORCECA President Cristobal Marte Hoffiz, the United States was crowned with unbeaten record and players were honored with individual awards.

 

Logan Eggleston besides being the Most Valuable Player of the tournament was also the Best Server.

 

Uxue Guereca of Mexico impressed with her unstoppable force net, to receive the awards as Best Scorer and Best Opposite Player.

 

Mexican Joseline Landeros was awarded as the Best Libero, the Best Digger and the Best Receiver.

 

Dominican Republic was awarded with three individual recognitions, Natalia Martinez as the 2nd Outside Hitter, Geraldine Gonzalez the 1st Middle Blocker and Camila De La Rosa the Best Setter.

 

The 1st Outside Hitter award was granted to Ailama Cesa of Cuba and the 2nd Middle Blocker to Jaylibeth Garcia of Puerto Rico.
