“Glad with today’s win even though it was difficult to come back from yesterday’s loss, but we have to turn the page. During today’s practice we prepared for any eventuality, that’s why everyone had a chance to play today. We must be focused in tomorrow’s match against the home team,” Panama’s captain Ricardo Brown said.

Verwyn Jervis, captain for Turks & Caicos expressed: “We were less distracted, we had a good third set as we showed a bit improvement.”

Head Coach for Panama, Marco Perez, said: “We worked on yesterday’s faults against Honduras looking to win today in 3 sets using different combinations thinking about tomorrow’s match,”. He urged Turks & Caicos to compete more because it’s the only way to see results and he congratulated them.

“I’m excited because the team had better blocking and hits, our defense was more effective; we’re looking ahead positively,” Turks & Caicos Coach CJ Edross said.
