NORCECA trains personnel for the U20 World Championship

MONTERREY, Mexico, March 27, 2017 – A VIS course under the direction of NORCECA Instructor Manuel Calderon took place in Monterrey on the occasion of the U19 Boys’ Pan American Cup that concluded on Saturday night at Nuevo Leon Gymnasium.

Besides the staff that worked in the U19 event, participants in the course included the statistics personnel that will perform these duties at the FIVB U20 Women’s World Championship to be held in the cities of Cordoba and Boca de Rio of Veracruz, Mexico.

The course was held from March 16 to 19 with 13 volunteers from the Sport Administration Faculty of Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon.

The participants were selected following certain criteria that included knowledge about volleyball fundaments in order to obtain optimal results.

Previously the volunteers had the opportunity to participate as back-up in four matches at the Alejandro Salinas Cup, an event organized in Monterrey.
