TIJUANA, Mexico, April 29, 2016 - The President of the North,
Central American and Caribbean Volleyball Confederation (NORCECA),
Cristobal Marte Hoffiz, led the opening of activities of the
Executive Committee and Board of Administration Meetings that
take part at the Grand Hotel Tijuana.
For three day the members from several countries analyze and
make decisions about very important topics.
The President of Norceca and FIVB First Executive Vice President
remarked the importance of these meetings in an Olympic year.
He also emphasized how Beach Volleyball has grown up for the
last years with a great development and impact worldwide.
“This situation is in benefit of us and it is a great advantage
in our zones (North, Central American and The Caribbean). We
have natural venues to continue with this impulse,” He exposed.
Among other topics there were development and organization of
National Federations, specially the ones of Category I and II.
Baja California Sports and Physical Culture Institute General
Director, Saul Castro Verdugo, was also present at the opening
of activities. Castro addressed a welcome message to all
attendees.
He wished a good stay in Baja California, a region that has
become very well known for its quality as official host of
several international competitions and executive meetings.
Along with the Board of Administration and Executive Committee
meetings the Statutory Assembly of the Pan American Volleyball
Union is scheduled in Tijuana with the attendance of South
American Volleyball Confederation (CSV). |
