SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, November 1,
2021 - Th International Course for Coaches Level
1, organized by the Regional Center for the
Development of Volleyball Norceca-FIVB in a
virtual way, concluded on Wednesday.
Eighteen coaches from Peru, Nicaragua, Puerto
Rico, Guatemala, Brazil, Finland, Mexico and the
Dominican Republic participated in it.
The event was chaired by Lic. Cristobal Marte,
president of the Norceca Confederation, who
urged all coaches to work for the development of
volleyball in their countries with the help of
their national federation and thus make
volleyball stronger.
He also congratulated the course instructors
Francisco Hervas of Spain and Juan Cartagena of
Puerto Rico for the good work done in training
new entrants.
He also stated that Norceca will continue to
provide the Development Center to continue
organizing activities.
The director of the Center, Prof. Nelson Jose
Ramirez, also congratulated the participants for
the dedication they presented during the 10 days
of the course together with their instructors.
He also said to feel very happy that so far this
year the center has been able to organize six
virtual courses which have had a large
participation of students from all over the
world. With the hope that next year 2022 they
will have the courses in person again.
It is a very propitious occasion to express
gratitude to the Norceca Confederation in the
person of Lic. Cristóbal Marte for the support
that he always offers to all the activities
organized by the Norceca-FIVB Volleyball
Development Center based in the Dominican
Republic. |
