				United States NORCECA U18 champion by beating Canada 
				
				
				  
				
				
				Tegucigalpa, Honduras. September 1, 2018. The United States was 
				crowned champion of the NORCECA U18 Women's Continental 
				Championship by winning 3-0 (25-13, 25-2, 25-23) to Canada, 
				reaching eight titles in the history of this category and both 
				qualified for the U18 World Cup in Egypt. 
				
				
				  
				
				
				Before a gym to burst, supporting the finalist teams, both 
				squads delighted the fans with impressive attacks and defensive 
				plays. 
				
				
				  
				
				
				The United States was unstoppable in the attack with 39 points, 
				by 21 of its rivals, in addition its blocking was superior 14-3 
				and they surpassed 8-6 in the service, committing 18 unforced 
				errors, by 14 of Canada. 
				
				
				  
				
				
				Jessica Mruzik with 19 points was the top scorer of the champion 
				team, and her teammates Devyn Robinson and Emily Londot 
				contributed 13 points. Karatina Pantovic was the best for Canada 
				with nine points. 
				
				
				  
				
				
				Allison Jacobs, captain of the United States: "I am happy, but 
				also all the team and the coaches of our teams share this 
				feeling, for all we have achieved here. I can not describe, I do 
				not have words, we're just happy to be able to qualify for the

				James Stone, coach of the United States: "I'm very happy with 
				how the girls played, Canada is a great team, it's very good, 
				that's why we were not surprised in the third set to be 
				pressured and take advantage. They pushed and fought to win, but
